 About JSCPB

The Japanese Society for Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry (JSCPB) is an academic society dedicated to the study of how animals adapt to the environment of their habitat and how their functions evolve in terms of physiology and molecular mechanisms.

Our aim is to promote our field in Japanese academia and to contribute to understanding the biology of diverse animals through main three activities:
1) organizing the annual meeting, symposium and course of lectures,
2) publishing the journal Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry (比較生理生化学) and
3) contributing to international societies
