  • Guidelines for oral presentation

    • Please bring your own laptop computer for presentation (Windows is recommended). There have been cases where tablets, Macs and iPads cannot be connected, their screens are not the right size, or the video cannot be played. The first speaker of the first day will be able to preview from 8:00 am. The same LCD projector is used in Room A and Room B. For the first speaker on the second day, please check the operation of the projector by previewing it the day before.
    • A VGA cable (mini-D-sub15 pin) is used to connect to the projector; HDMI direct connection is not possible, so a conversion adapter is required. We will provide a conversion adapter for Windows, but if you are using a Mac or iPad, please don't forget to bring it with you.
    • If the computer switchover takes a significant amount of time, we will not extend the time for that amount of time.
    • If you have several presentations in a row in the same laboratory, please use one computer for all of them.
    • Please save your slides on a USB memory stick in case your computer does not work properly. There will be a spare Windows PC at the venue, but not a Mac or iPad.
    • In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, please bring a laser pointer on your own or in your laboratory.
    • All award nominee will be presented on the first day of the conference. Voting for the Best Presentation Award should be done at the ballot box at the registration desk by 12:10 pm 19:10 on Sunday, 22nd November (Day 1).
